Meet Matt

Die hard Philly sports fan, espresso martini connoisseur, cat dad, loving husband, tattoo collector & professional photographer.

I’M NOT JUST YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER..

What’s my favorite kind of picture to take? That’s a tough one—not because I don’t have a favorite, but because I love capturing everything! I’ve never wanted to limit myself or my business to just one particular niche. Over the years, I’ve photographed cars, pets, products, tattoos, people—you name it! If it can be photographed, I’m all in. So whether you need updated family portraits, wedding photography, or fresh professional headshots, I’m your guy!

But my job isn’t just about taking pictures. I always tell my clients—yes, I’m your photographer, but I’m also your assistant, confidant, and even your friend. That’s why getting to know each other is so important to me. I get that being in front of the camera can be nerve-wracking, but it doesn’t have to be! My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, have fun, and walk away with photos you love. Trust me—the more relaxed you are, the better your pictures will be!

MY BACKGROUND

I grew up in Morgantown, PA—a small town about an hour west of Philly, where some days it felt like there were more cows and horses than people. I went to the local high school, and it was there that I met the love of my life (and now wife), Courtney. We both went on to study Business Administration and Marketing at Bloomsburg University of PA. After college, I worked a variety of marketing jobs and even spent some time as an assistant store manager at the local Walmart. But in 2021, I knew it was time to take a leap and find my passion.

For most of my life—even through college—I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do. The one thing I did know was that I wanted to start my own business. Photography had always interested me, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I picked up a real camera and started shooting. What began as taking photos of my friends’ cars quickly became my greatest passion. I had finally found what I was meant to do.

WHAT’S NEXT?

It’s been just over six years since I first picked up a camera, and so much has changed—both personally and professionally. I moved out of my parents’ house, married my high school sweetheart, and built my business into what it is today.

I’m a longtime member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), a two-time “Best of Zola” wedding vendor (2023 & 2025), and a proud cat dad to two wild (but adorable) boys, Remi & Leo. And this is just the beginning. There’s so much more ahead—but what’s next? That’s where you come in...

MORE ABOUT ME!

What’s something most people may not know about you?

One thing most people may not know about me is that I am a transplant recipient! On February 14, 2016, I received a life saving kidney transplant from a donor, who I unfortunately never got the chance to meet. That person is my hero and I HIGHLY suggest consider becoming a registered organ donor.

If you could choose between a mountain vacation or a beach vacation which would you choose?

Well, my answer really depends on the time of year. If we’re talking the fall or winter, I’m undoubtedly picking a trip to the mountains. I grew up hunting at my family cabin in Clearfield County, PA, so for me I associate the cooler weather with hunting, camping, and an ice cold beer with friends and family. However, if we’re talking spring and especially summer, I’m picking the beach. I was never a big fan of going to the beach as a kid/teen, but I’ve found a new love and appreciation for sitting on a beach with an ice cold drink, doing absolutely nothing.

So you’re a “die hard” Philly sports fan. What’s your go-to team above all else?So you’re a “die hard” Philly sports fan. What’s your go-to team above all else?

That’s easy. It’s gotta be the Eagles. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the very ugly when it comes to this team. My friends and I spend every Sunday during football season cooking, drinking, and watching the Birds. If I had to rank the Philly teams in order it would look something like this:

  1. Eagles

  2. Phillies

  3. Flyers

  4. Sixers

If you never became a photographer, what would you most likely be doing?

Before I found photography, my obsession was with cars. More specifically Jeeps. I actually still own my very first car, a 1988 Jeep Wrangler! While I still love that old Jeep, and now most recently own a Toyota 4Runner, I would have almost certainly found a career working with Jeeps and/or something in the off-road industry.

You can only eat one thing for the rest of your life.. What are you picking?

I’ve thought about this time and time again. Most often my answer changes. I think right now in this moment, I’m picking pizza. I mean who doesn’t love cheese and dough? I’d like to think I wouldn’t get sick of it eventually, but for the rest of my life is a pretty long time..

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not taking photos?

When I’m not taking photos or working on editing them, I’m usually just at home with my wife and cats. Outside of that I love to hangout with my friends, play golf, or play video games. I’m really just a big kid at heart. Whatever I can do to take my mind off work, I’m usually doing that!
